Your Future Challenge

In your role as an NC programmer, you will work on the development of production documentation for our NC-controlled manufacturing equipment in turning and milling. In addition to NC programming, you will also work with machining methods and fixturing methods. Calculation work may also occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience in production technology or workshop experience related to machining.

You have a technical education and a good production technology competence. The role of NC programmer requires you to collaborate with the design department, workshop, and other departments within Saab. Therefore, you should be outgoing, driven, and accustomed to taking initiatives. Good language skills in English and good computer skills are a requirement.

Other desirable qualifications:

Broad workshop education or workshop experience preferably from NC-controlled manufacturing.
Workshop education/experience in other workshop sections is an advantage.
Good product knowledge
Knowledge of Catia and Mazatrol or similar CAD/CAM systems is an advantage
Experience in NC programming

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
